Safety equipment

Escaping from a downed helicopter underwater is one of the most disorienting and dangerous situations facing civil and military aviators today. We produce EBS (emergency breathing systems) systems to be deployed underwater to avoid the risk of drowning in an overturned helicopter body.

Self-contained breathing apparatuses, otherwise known as SCBA systems, provide breathable air to firefighters, miners, and HAZMAT teams working in hazardous conditions where breathable air is contaminated or in short supply. We produce pressure gauges, air hoses, and other equipment used in SCBA systems.

ProAsia EBS (Patent Pending)

Combining a precision machined first stage regulator body, pressurized .29-liter cylinder (aluminum or composite), and a unique second stage regulator with integrated nose clips, the ProAsia Design EBS can be conveniently stowed in a helicopter cabin or personal harness for easy one hand deployment in an emergency. We also produce a convenient EBS carry harness that can comfortably hold the EBS over a dive jacket, lifejacket, or immersion suit.

The ProAsia Design EBS is designed to meet the requirements of the EN250:2014 open circuit recreational regulator standard and the EN4856:2018 standard for rotorcraft EBS.

  • Ready for action – simply bite down on mouthpiece and place nose clips to breathe underwater
  • Ergonomic nose clip integrated into the 2nd stage body for rapid deployment
  • 360° braided swivel hose for easy manipulation
  • Color coded pressure gauge indicates cylinder pressure

Options

  • 3,000 or 4,500 PSI configurations
  • Aluminum or composite cylinder
  • ON/OFF knob or hex key lock
  • With or without second stage nose clips
  • Pressure gauge available in Metric or Imperial

All products and individual components are tested and exceed relevant certification standards such as NFPA, NIOSH, CE, and UKCA.
